We all fans of “Rick and Morty” are still excited from season 2 and wondering what the next set of episodes is going to bring to them. At this point it’s clear that this is no ordinary show, and the creators of “Rick and Morty” have a truly original approach to not only their storytelling, but their overall presentation and production, and they’ve managed to captivate many people with the first two seasons of the show. After season two ended, it became clear that this production has a lot of potential to dig deep into the foundations of certain ideas that are quite common on TV.
But it’s probably going to be a while before we all get to see season 3, and we all have no idea what the new episodes are going to be about. The producers of the show have been giving some subtle hints about the upcoming storylines, but of course they’re being quite vague about it all, and they may not even have the intention to actually give their fans a correct lead. For all we know, they could be just messing with people for fun, and that would be completely in the style of the show-runners of “Rick and Morty”.
The first two seasons of the show gradually ramped up the seriousness and depth of the plot, and at one point the producers obviously decided that they wanted to do more with the potential available to them, and they started really throwing out some exciting themes on the screen, presenting each character in a unique light and exploring their personalities in detail. We got to learn a lot about everyone on the screen, including more minor characters, and now the entire cast of the show has been very well fleshed out and ready for even more exciting revelations.
Some fans are worried that the next season could come with some dark moments in the plot. This could make sense in light of the show’s tendency to constantly push for darker and darker themes in its episodes, and if the producers are trying to go for something more thought-provoking and dramatic, then season 3 could come with certain changes that could make the setting of the show significantly different for the future.
There are even rumors that a major character could depart, and while we don’t have any concrete information in this regard, nor any real reason to believe it other than the fact that the rumor gets repeated a lot in some circles, it is a popular theory among fans and it would be interesting to see if it has any weight to it. It would certainly change things a lot if the producers decided to get rid of one of the characters, but right now it’s very difficult to make a prediction like that as pretty much every character on the show has an important place in the plot, and it would be strange to see the show without any of them.
On that note, the people behind “Rick and Morty” have been quite vague about their current plans and ideas for the show, and that’s pretty much to be expected, considering that they understand the huge amount of attention currently focused on them.
Many people want to find out what’s happening with the show and what will come to the screen for season 3, and with all this attention on the production right now, anything that the producers could say can easily get twisted out of proportion by the community and spin out of control.
That’s a good reason for the producers to manage what they’re saying and be very careful with their statements to the public if they want to keep the show’s reputation in check.
But in any case, we all expect that they are going to give at least some hints about their current status at one point, because they also understand the importance of maintaining the show’s hype levels as high as possible. They have a lot of momentum going on from season 2, and it can help a lot if they made a few statements about the show here and there in order to keep people talking about it and to make sure that nobody has forgotten that season 3 of “Rick and Morty” is coming to the screen.
